The University of Alabama football team will report to campus on Wednesday, and the start of fall camp will begin Thursday morning.

Thursday will be the first time the entire 2010 team will be together as a unit.

Freshmen, who were not able to enroll early (January), will take the field for the first time as members of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

In other news, fans of the Crimson Tide will once again get the opportunity to meet the players and coaches at Fan Day.

The 2010 edition of the annual event will be this Sunday from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Fans will be allowed to enter Bryant-Denny Stadium at 1:30 p.m. at gate 5 and inhabit sections A-N.

An open practice will begin at 2:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last two hours. Once practice is over, fans will enter the field through gate 46 for the autograph session.

Fans who do not wish to watch practice can begin lining up at 1:30 p.m. for the actual autograph assembly with Tide coaches and players.

The autograph session will be limited to 45 minutes in length due to meeting obligations for the team and coaching staff. Fans will be limited to one item (to be signed) per person, and no posed photographs will be allowed.

Food and drinks will be available at 50% off the regular “gameday prices” during the duration of Fan Day.

In the event of rain, the autograph session would be held in the indoor practice complex, and fans would enter the gate near the Mal Moore Athletic Facility.
