On Tuesday, the University of Alabama received a verbal commitment from Eddie Williams.

Williams, a safety from Arnold High School in Panama City, FL, is the first verbal given to the Crimson Tide for the 2012 signing class.

Rivals.com projects Williams as a five-star prospect and one of the top 10 overall recruits in the nation for 2012.

Eddie Williams (6-foot-4, 205 pounds) will be a huge asset to the Crimson Tide secondary and will only increase the talent level at the safety position.

The new film, “Nick Saban: Gamechanger” debuted in Birmingham on Tuesday evening and will hit theaters on Friday.

The film has drawn plenty of attention thanks to the powerful movie trailer which was released last month.

In addition to a theatrical run at select locations, the film will be released to official DVD this fall.
