Sunday afternoon the Alabama Crimson Tide football team took the field for a public practice session which coincided with fan day at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

‘Bama held a routine practice going through basic drills for two hours and then signed autographs for the estimated 7,000 Tide fans in attendance.

Mark Ingram (as well documented) was not in Tuscaloosa on Sunday due to the death of his grandfather and Kendall Kelly continues to miss practice due to heat related concerns. Although Kelly has not been hospitalized, the Tide safety is out until further notice.

Alabama will return to the practice field this week as preparation for the 2010 season continues.
