Saban Preaches Consistency and Fundamentals

Nick Saban has yet to name a starting quarterback for the contest at Penn State, but he has named the areas of concern in respect to his football team.

Lack of consistency within the offensive line and lack of basic fundamentals have been his “preaching points” since the conclusion of the Kent State game.

Saban has also gone on record as saying that most of the players who took the field on Saturday didn’t play as well as the coaching staff had hoped.

Whether the lack of performance was due to nerves or anxiety…Nick Saban wasn’t pleased.

On the injury front, wide receiver Kevin Norwood sustained a sprained ankle against KSU. The injury is considered to be minor and Norwood is expected to be available on Saturday afternoon.
