-Linebacker Dont’a Hightower continues to wear a protective dressing on his surgically repaired left hand. Hightower is expected to be “bandage free” once the season begins on Sept. 3 against Kent State.
-Alabama will return to the practice field Friday afternoon for a final session prior to Saturday’s closed scrimmage at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
-In respect to the recent Yahoo! article concerning the University of Miami and two former assistants who are now employed at the University of Alabama, Nick Saban relayed the following message (see video) to the media earlier today.
