Dixie Fried Football: Monday Practice Report

-Offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio, who suffered a leg injury during Sunday’s public practice, did not take the field on Monday during the media viewing period. Nick Saban will address the media on Tuesday and will most likely provide an injury update.

-Running back Eddie Lacy and tight end Brian Vogler, who adorned black non-contact jerseys on Sunday, were both wearing white jerseys at the Monday practice session.

-Freshman Christion Jones continues to take reps with the running backs and wide receivers.

-Wide receiver Duron Carter remains ineligible to participate in fall camp, but as mentioned in a prior post, Carter is expected to join the Crimson Tide later in the week.

-Alabama will practice in full pads for the first time on Tuesday. Two-a-day practice sessions will begin on Wednesday.
