-Preseason camp officially came to an end on Tuesday. Today marked the first day of traditional fall practice thanks to the start of the fall semester at the University of Alabama.
Dee Hart Sighting:
-Freshman running back Dee Hart made his fall practice debut on Wednesday. Hart, who is expected to miss the entire 2011 season after undergoing knee surgery, rode a stationary bike during the afternoon practice session.
August 31…Key for Carter:
-Duron Carter remains the most talked about fictional Alabama football player since the great Forrest Gump. Carter has yet to enroll at the University of Alabama due to academic transcript issues. The last day a student can begin the fall semester is Aug. 31.
The Future:
-Alabama will hit the practice field on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, before taking a break on Sunday. Game preparation for the Kent State Golden Flashes will begin on Friday.
