Sims at RB: Monday Morning Practice Report

-Redshirt freshman Blake Sims took reps with the running backs on Monday morning following an extensive period with the quarterbacks last week. Sims, who can virtually do it all from an offensive skill standpoint, is expected to provide Alabama with versatility and resourcefulness this season.

-Cornerback Dee Milliner, who sustained a gash to his chin during Saturday’s scrimmage, participated in the morning session with no ill effects.

-Offensive lineman Ryan Kelly, who missed last week with a concussion, returned to practice Monday morning.

-Linebacker Alex Watkins and tight end Brian Vogler, who did not participate in Saturday’s scrimmage due to injury, returned to practice on Monday. Both Watkins and Vogler are recovering from offseason surgical procedures.

-Alabama will return to the field at 7:30 p.m. for the second session
of two-a-day practice.
