Yeldon graces SI cover, minor ailments hamper Tide

'Bama running back T.J. Yeldon has received the honor of being featured on a regional cover of Sports Illustrated.

The issue, which previews the 2013 college football season, is one of six regional covers available this week. Yeldon is the fifth consecutive Alabama running back to grace the cover of the popular magazine.
Alabama continues to battle various health issues as preseason camp continues. The Crimson Tide "appeared" to be on the "good side" in terms of the injury bug, but the second week of practice has displayed a rash of minor issues. Especially after Saturday's scrimmage...
The story was covered in the above tweet/link, but visual evidence is always an extra bonus. Based on the picture below, it appears the protection on Alvin Kamara's (26) right knee is more of the “sleeve” variety rather than a cumbersome brace.
Today will mark the final day of two-a-day practice sessions for the Crimson Tide. Alabama will enter the final segment of preseason camp next week, before beginning "game week" prep for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
