Cameron Sims gives verbal to Alabama

Ouachita Parish High School (Monroe, LA) wide receiver Cameron Sims has given his verbal commitment to the University of Alabama for 2014.

Sims, who stands 6-foot-4 and tops the scale at 190-pounds, selected the Crimson Tide over the likes of Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Southern, and Southern Mississippi.

While Sims narrowed his final list to five schools, the highly touted prospect had scholarship offers from a large collection of contenders which included Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oregon, and USC.

Listed as a four-star prospect per Rivals.com, Sims becomes Alabama’s 19th verbal commitment in respect to the 2014 signing class.
