Vanderbilt/Alabama Series History

-The 6 p.m. homecoming contest at Bryant-Denny Stadium will mark the 83rd meeting between Vanderbilt and Alabama.

-The most recent meeting between ‘Bama/Vandy took place in September of 2007 in Nashville. The Crimson Tide won the contest 24-10 in Nick Saban’s first SEC game as head coach of the Crimson Tide.

-Alabama leads the overall series 58-19-4 (60-18-4 before forfeited and vacated games) and have won 20 consecutive meetings.

-The last time Vanderbilt defeated Alabama was in September of 1984 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Commodores won by a score of 30-21.
