Richardson Receives Player of the Week Honors

For the second time this season, Trent Richardson has been named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week. The Alabama running back has rushed for 100 yards or more in six consecutive games and is now the 10th leading rusher in school history with 2,363 yards.

The Alabama junior currently leads the SEC in rushing and ranks fourth nationally with a 130.3 yards per game average. Richardson is also third in the nation in scoring, averaging 13 points per contest.

Injury Report

-Offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio underwent knee surgery last Thursday and will miss the remainder of the season.

-Offensive lineman Anthony Steen suffered a concussion in the contest against Ole Miss and will be withheld from practice until he recovers.
