Crimson Notes 10/3/11

Alabama starting center William Vlachos has been named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Vlachos, who did not allow a sack against Florida, helped the Alabama offense rush for 226 yards and pass for 140.

The Crimson Tide center made several critical calls in pass protection which proved to be successful against the Gators.

On the health and wellness front, linebacker C.J. Mosley continues to recover from an elbow injury which he sustained in the early portion of the game against Arkansas.

Mosley, who missed the contest at Florida, is considered questionable for Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.

Tide running back Eddie Lacy, who suffered a foot injury against Arkansas, will be wearing a boot as preparation for Vanderbilt begins.

Lacy, who played against Florida and scored a rushing touchdown, is regarded as probable for Saturday.
