Confident Commodores: Franklin Revives Vandy

The Vanderbilt Commodores, led by new head coach James Franklin, will enter Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night with a record of 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the SEC.

Vandy is coming off an idle week after being defeated by the South Carolina Gamecocks the week prior.

It goes without saying the ‘Dores will face a monstrous challenge in Alabama, but head coach James Franklin has pumped new life into what was considered by many to be a “bleak and barren” program.

For the first time in several years, Vandy fans have a reason to be optimistic about not only the present…but the future.
