As the month of July slowly comes to a close, the “wild and crazy” remains routine.

Instead of chatting about college football, the topic of sports agents, investigations and allegations have taken center stage.

On Thursday afternoon, the University of Alabama denied a report by TMZ which claimed the NCAA sought to speak with Tide running back Mark Ingram concerning a party he attended on May 12 in Washington D.C.

The party in question involved recent NFL draft selections, most notably former Florida star Joe Haden.

In respect to the Crimson Tide running back, the University of Alabama gave Ingram permission to attend the function, so long as he presented receipts for his expenses.

An Alabama spokesperson said Ingram provided all the necessary documentation concerning the trip.

The ‘Bama representative also said the school is currently unaware of any NCAA issue concerning Mark Ingram.
