Less than 48 hours after the University of Alabama held a celebration honoring the 2009 national championship football team, ‘Bama athletics director Mal Moore...lost his wife.
Charlotte Moore passed away Monday morning, following a prolonged period of poor health. Moore was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in the early 1990s, and had been residing in a nursing home in Tuscaloosa four years prior to her death.
On behalf of the entire ‘Bama nation, I would like to send my condolences to Mal Moore and his family, and wish them nothing but the best during this difficult time.
