Alabama looks for additional help at defensive back

Deion Belue, who suffered a toe injury against Texas A&M, is very questionable for Alabama’s contest against Colorado State. Nick Saban, during his weekly SEC teleconference, suggested as many as five defensive backs are in the running to see game action if Belue is unable to participate.
Alabama beat writer Andrew Gribble has the story…
In addition to Belue, wide receiver Kevin Norwood is also questionable for the Colorado State game. Norwood suffered what appeared to be a foot injury during the contest against Texas A&M.

Norwood, along with the aforementioned Belue, have not practiced this week and have been essentially relegated to riding stationary bikes.
Saban is diggin’ Ricky

Ricky Williams, the former Heisman winner at the University of Texas, and accomplished NFL star, is currently the running backs coach at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio. During today’s SEC teleconference, Nick Saban expressed his interest in Williams as a coach.
