Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis has accepted a defensive coaching position with the University of Texas.
Texas media outlets reported on Monday that Davis was in Austin for an interview to fill the vacancy left by former (retired) defensive tackles coach Mike Tolleson.
Media reports out of South Carolina and Alabama (Tuesday) confirmed that Clemson defensive ends coach Chris Rumph will replace the departed Davis as the new defensive line coach for the Crimson Tide.
Rumph had been at Clemson for five seasons.
