Nick Saban remembers the late Joe Paterno

Joe Paterno, the patriarch of Penn State football, died Sunday morning at the age of 85 following a bout with lung cancer.

In the wake of Paterno’s death, Alabama head coach Nick Saban (among others) shared personal thoughts and memories of the legendary Penn State coach during an installment of ESPN’s SportsCenter.

"Joe Paterno probably gave his life to college football," Saban said. "He gave his life to the players in college football."
