Alabama coach Nick Saban has delivered some promising news in regards to Tide running back Mark Ingram.

While meeting with the media on Wednesday, Saban affirmed that Ingram has very limited swelling in his left knee which is certainly a positive sign.

The lack of severe inflammation will obviously help Ingram from a recovery and mobility perspective.

As documented in a preceding article, the Tide running back had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday morning after sustaining a minor injury during Monday’s practice session.

During the course of the same media assembly, Nick Saban also seemed optimistic in respect to the Marcell Dareus inquiry.

Although not positive or skeptical in respect to the final outcome, Saban did seem confident that a final decision (either way) will be made before the contest with San Jose State.

The 2010 version of the Nike Pro-Combat jerseys were unveiled on Wednesday. The Alabama Crimson Tide version has an American flag on the right shoulder, a faint touch of houndstooth in the white numbers and on the helmet stripe, and last but not least, the famous "A" gloves which have discipline, commitment, toughness, effort and pride written on the fingers.

'Bama will wear the uniforms against Mississippi State on Nov. 13. The American flag on the right shoulder will be in honor of Veterans Day which will concur with game week.

Boise State, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, TCU, Virginia Tech and West Virginia will also adorn the Nike Pro-Combat jerseys in select games this season.
