Tony Brown gives verbal to Alabama

Ozen High School (Beaumont, TX) defensive back Tony Brown has given his verbal commitment to the University of Alabama for 2014.

Using the annual Under Armour All-America Game as his national stage, Brown selected the Crimson Tide over the likes of LSU and Ohio State.

Standing 6-feet tall and 182-pounds, Brown is listed as a five-star prospect per Rivals.com and the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Texas.

With his verbal pledge to the Crimson Tide, Tony Brown becomes the 24th commitment in respect to Alabama's 2014 signing class.
