Neville High School (Monroe, LA) safety Laurence "Hootie" Jones has given his verbal commitment to the University of Alabama for the second time in a month.
Jones, who originally verbalized to Alabama Dec. 2, decommitted from the Tide Dec. 18 in order to reevaluate his situation.
Following tonight's Under Armour All-America Game, Jones once again declared his decision to play for the University of Alabama, selecting the Tide over the likes of LSU and Ole Miss.
Standing 6-foot-2 and 210-pounds, Jones is a four-star recruit per Rivals.com, as well as the No. 4 safety prospect in the nation and the No. 5 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana.
With his pledge to the Crimson Tide, Hootie Jones becomes the 25th verbal commitment in respect to Alabama's 2014 signing class.
