Saban speaks on Penn State players
Alabama head coach Nick Saban visited the ESPN “campus” earlier this week and fielded questions on a variety of issues. One of those issues dealt with current Penn State players who are entertaining the notion of transferring to another program.
When asked if he’d be interested in PSU players, Saban said they (players) would have to be interested in more than just Alabama football.
"The first thing I would say to a player is, this is not just about football," Saban said. "You're there to get an education. I think you should think about your future in terms of your ability to be successful personally, academically, and athletically.”
Saban also went on to say if a player(s) was interested in coming to Alabama for the right reasons, the school would certainly entertain the idea.
