The Alabama Crimson Tide received two verbal commitments on Monday as the 2012 recruiting class continues to grow and electrify.
Kenyan Drake (Powder Springs, Georgia-athlete/running back) and Tyler Hayes (Thomasville, Alabama-athlete/linebacker) informed ‘Bama coaches on Monday about their individual decisions to give “solid verbals” to the University of Alabama.
Kenyan Drake had over 1,000 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns during the 2010 season for Hillgrove High School. Drake also garnered more than 500 yards receiving which included eight touchdown receptions.
Tyler Hayes was named the MVP of the 2010 Alabama Class 4A state title game as he helped lead Thomasville to their first state championship since 1988.
Drake and Hayes become the seventh and eighth verbal commitments for the 2012 Alabama recruiting class.
