Toussaint’s playing status remains a mystery

Michigan head coach Brady Hoke has still not made a “public” decision in regards to the playing status of star running back Fitz Toussaint for Saturday’s contest against Alabama.

Toussaint, who was arrested earlier this summer on DUI charges, pled guilty earlier this week to a lesser offense…operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.

While Toussaint has garnered a large chunk of the headlines, Brady Hoke has also yet to make a “playing status” decision on defensive end Frank Clark.

In late June, Clark was suspended for the theft of a laptop from a dorm room on the Michigan campus.

With the season opener against Alabama only 48 hours away, the status of both Clark and Toussaint may not be decided until kickoff.
