Dominick Jackson gives verbal to Alabama

As Tuesday rolled into Wednesday in the central time zone, one of the most highly touted junior college players in the country had the University of Alabama on his mind.

Offensive tackle Dominick Jackson, who gave his verbal commitment to UCLA three weeks ago, has now “flipped” his allegiance to the Crimson Tide.
Currently attending the College of San Mateo in San Mateo, California, Jackson stands 6-foot-7 and tops the scale at 312-pounds. Listed as a four-star prospect per Rivals.com, Jackson is the No. 1 JUCO offensive tackle per 247Composite rankings via 247Sports.com.

Jackson held scholarship offers from the aforementioned UCLA Bruins, as well as the likes of Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC.

With his verbal pledge to the Crimson Tide, Dominick Jackson becomes the 14th verbal commitment for Alabama in respect to the 2014 signing class.
